At nightfall, after
enjoying a day of sun and fun, immersed in the natural
wonders of Xcaret, our guests move on to the colorful
equestrian spectacular of the "Lienzo Charro,"
a Mexican-style rodeo, and the boisterous fair, with
its booths of games and delicacies, lit by lanterns,
serenaded by joyful music.
Magic of the The magical
spectacle presented each night at Xcaret is an experience
for all the senses. The fair, the ballgame in the impressive
setting of the "Tlaxco," are followed by a
gala celebration with the music and dance of Mexico,
with more than 200 artists presented in this unforgettable
party of magic, color and music!

This epic celebration
has all the color and clamor of a great festival from
the "Golden Epoch" of Mexico, and all the
magnificent mysticism of the old Mayan kings.

On the way to the Great
Tlaxco resound drums from deep in the jungle, accompanied
by the melancholy song of the conch shell - the Valley
of Fragrance is guarded by warriors and Mayan priests,
harking back to that splendid epoch. In the background,
the imposing silhouette of the Great Tlaxco is profiled
upon the starry heavens. With seating for 6000 spectators,
the magnificent theater presents 220 artists participating
onstage in an unforgettable encounter between two cultures.
The indigenous act includes
a demonstration of the prehispanic ballgame, as well
as a version of the game with a flaming ball, both magnificently
presented in their historic and cultural contexts. A
fabulous presentation of folk music and dance from different
states of Mexico follows, and a grand finale full of
surprises closes this fantastic evening.
