To
only ten kilometers of the North coast of the Yucatan
Peninsula Isla Holbox is located, in Mayan language
means “Hoyo Negro”; island that to the passage

barracudas, blankets and turtles sea turtle and even
sharks whale.
How
to arrive:
In order to arrive at Isla Holbox from Cancún,
it follows Federal Highway 180 towards the west, around
150 km to New Xcan, soon to go towards the north other
100 km to Chiquilá. From Chiquilá it will
have to cross Laguna Yalah in boat towards the island
(10 km). The nearest population is Chiquilá.
