To only ten kilometers
of the North coast of the Yucatan Peninsula Holbox Island
is located. Separated of mainland by the Yalahán
Lagoon, Holbox is a place to move away of everything,
and is also an excellent site to admire some fascinating
species of aquatic birds. Their inhabitants are fishermen,
who will be enchanted to on board show the environs
to him of a boat, as long as very they are not occupied
cleaning the capture of the day.

Between the variety
of fish that are in this area are the pámpano,
sábalo, the mere one, the barracuda and the shark.

How to arrive:
In order to arrive at Holbox Island from Cancún,
it follows Federal Highway 180 towards the west, around
150 km to New Xcan, soon diríjase towards the
north other 100 km to Chiquilá. From Chiquilá
it will have to cross the Yalah Lagoon in boat towards
the island (10 km).
