The ecoturismo,
frequently confused with the risk sports, but in fact
consists of visits to the relatively inalteradas geographic
areas, with the purpose of enjoying and to appreciate
its attractive natural or cultural ones, by means of
a process that promotes the conservation, it has under
environmental impact and it causes the active participation
of the local populations in the processes of planning
and the distribution of its benefits. The Mexican Caribbean
is known by its archaeological wealth and some its beaches
and reefs; nevertheless, almost it is not known with
regard to the variety and stop scientific and tourist
interest of his natural patrimony. The tourism, professionally
organized and effectively oriented by the specialists
in the matter, can contribute of decisive form to the
conservation of so rich patrimony, allowing the visitor

tourism is promoted like “an ethical” tourism,

of the local populations, and such presumption generally
is reflected in the structure and operation of the cooperative
companies/groups/that dedicate themselves to offer such
service. In spite of the relative cortedad of its existence,
the ecoturismo is seen by several conservacionistas
groups, international institutions and governments like
a viable alternative of sustainable development. Countries
like Costa Rica, Kenya, Madagascar, Nepal exist and
Ecuador where the ecoturismo stops in effect one leaves
significant from the currency income of the tourist
heading. It is necessary to also notice that tourism
ecological has be criticized by his deficiency of standards

Today which the humanity begins to wake up on the importance
that has the conservation of the nature, the Mexican
Caribbean constitutes, almost in its totality, an objective
of the national and international, public and deprived
institutions, to preserve the wealth of its flora and
fauna. The fragility of the reef of chorale, manglares
and matting, the tropical forest, the cloudy forest
and the quality of waters of their seas, Rivers and
lakes, as well as the danger in that is the varied fauna
that populates the different inhabitants, demands a
coordinated effort of the inhabitants who live in the
spaces in danger with the institutions to preserve a
region today threatened by the poverty, ignorance and
the easy profit of a minority. In the Mexican Caribbean
many companies exist that are dedicated to the Ecoturismo,
such as the Ecological Parks of Xel-há, the Garafón
and Xcaret. |
