| In order
to make sculptures the Mayans carved the solid limestone
stone when he was available. In order to do this the
artists used 'pieces of the stone, basalt chisels, hard
wood and obsidian. Slowly the pieces with heavy wood,
stone hammers and knives of obsidian worked. They cut
stones of the slope and when the stones had the wished
form moved them to the final site of the monument, where
they were carved and carved. |

The done
sculptures show to rituals, myths, history and symbols
to us accompanied by the symbols of the calendar and
hieroglyphics. In these sculptures the personality of
the Mayan culture can be seen that with the passage
